FAQ

What Makes Purific’s System Unique?

The Purific solution can be provided in cartridge form or produced onsite using one of Purific’s EW (Electrolysed Water or HOCl) production units. Our EW production units use ordinary tap water in our patented, membrane-less reactors. These units are low maintenance, free of scaling, do not use buffer additives and Purific’s process does not produce any caustic by-products.

What is HOCl And Why Is It Such A Good Proactive Disinfectant?

Hypochlorousa is one of the most natural and effective biocides known to man. It eradicates all bacteria, mycobacteria, spores, fungi, viruses – even the tough Clostridium difficile – within 15 seconds. It disinfects 200 to 300 times better than bleach and is 100% safe. (Nature’s own powerful, non-toxic disinfectant. Br Dent J 224, 553 (2018). )

It is a natural substance our body produces as a first line defence against pathogens. It is extremely safe, bio-degradable and non-corrosive. It is non -flammable, chemical free and eco-friendly.

HOCL is FDA /EPA/CE approved for skin, food and surfaces contact. HOCl was proven, by Purific, to be effective against harmful pathogens including E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria, MRSA, Staphylococcus aureus,  Klebsiella pneumoniae, Covid-19 and more.

How Does Purific Differ To Its Competitors:

The most important differentiator is that Purific Solutions have been designed to proactively promote hygiene by disinfecting air, people, food, equipment, crops and surfaces of all description. Other differentiators are:

  • Purific’s patented solution has a long shelf life measured in years. HOCl or eWater generated by competitors generally have a shelf life measured in days or weeks
  • Purific’s equipment is designed for HOCl. HOCl or eWater can react with the material in the production equipment reducing the effectiveness of the HOCL
  • The Purific solution can be used for almost any industry
  • Room sanitisation can take place while being occupied
  • Avoids the need for any Deep Cleaning
  • The developers consist of a team of engineers, electrochemists and microbiologists
  • Production units are fully automated and require minimum maintenance
  • Purific has no caustic by-product, and is therefore echo friendly

What Is The Purpose Of The Tunnels?

The main purpose of the sanitisation tunnels is to provide protection at entrances to large spaces such as stadia, airports, hotels, shopping centres, office buildings etc. The type of tunnel will depend on a range of things including the amount of foot traffic, the footprint available and the type of entry point. Most of the tunnels are transportable and include a non-slip floor but they can be integrated into the design of any entry point.

What Is The Sanitisation Spray Like?

It is a gentle mist that can be described as a “dry” mist, like the mist from humidifying machines. The feeling is refreshing and is like walking through a “non-condensed cloud”. The spray nozzles are designed to ensure that the droplets are small enough to be suspended in the air.

Does The Sanitisation Solution Only Work For People?

The tunnel and devices are designed in a way that full coverage is obtained. As the disinfectant material is noncorrosive, equipment can be sanitised as well.

Could Purific’s Sanitisation Solutions Get Us Back To A Covid Safe Normality?

This is certainly one of the purposes of Purific’s sanitisation devices. The tunnels and devices are effective in crowded places, where the chances for virus spreading are much higher, and installation of sanitisation devices can improve personal safety in (but not limited to) Aged Care Facilities, Hospitals, Hotels, Shopping Centres.
